Inactive Tasks

Tasks are often made inactive when they are still part of a project when they are not immediately required. By making tasks inactive, standard task views do not display those tasks. This means that rather than deleting tasks and possibly losing history and/or details in task logs or other parts of the tasks, you can push them into the background and allow a project to continue. To designate a task as inactive:

1. Click on the task title in the Tasks screen
2. Click on the edit this task link in the upper left corner
3. Click on the Status drop down arrow and select inactive
4. Click on save
